Studied at the University of Illinois(where he was taught by DebraRichtmeyer) and at the EastmanSchool of Music, University ofRochester (where he was taughtbyChien-Kwan Lin); currentlystudying at the University ofGeorgia (under Connie Frigo).
Has impressed at a number ofnational competitions, includingthe North American SaxophoneAlliance Solo Competition (finalist– Lubbock – 2016), the 198th ArmyBand Solo and Small EnsembleCompetition (1st Prize – Rochester– 2016), and the Fischoff NationalChamber Music Competition (Gold Medal – Indiana – 2017).
Performs regularly with theUniversity of Georgia WindEnsemble.
